- 2020 Simon di Brazzan Malvasia - *Our Featured Selection* - Crisp clean nose, with notes of stone fruit. Great harmonious medium-bodied wine, luscious fruit expression, ripe and round with great balancing acidity on the long finish. Over the course of the past century, five generations have worked the land in Brazzano di Cormons. The founder of the agricultural estate was a widow who was aided by a villager named Simon, whose name still adorns the wine’s labels. Towards the end of the 1980s, Enrico Veliscig shifted the permaculture of the estate towards pure viticulture, farming organically and working the vine until he was over 100 years old. In 2006, the reins were passed on to his nephew, Daniele Drius. The resulting wines achieve the perfect harmony of the old and the new—creating wines that are textural, nuanced, and clean. Friulian varieties like Malvasia and Friulano are allowed to shine within the context of their history as well as their moment in time—a perfect expression of the gentle, thoughtful nature of Daniele Drius.
- 2020 Joseph Scharsch Les Petit Grain Pinot Noir - The wine is a beautiful ruby red colour. Aromas of raspberry and black cherry with hints of vanilla, grilled notes, and slightly woody. The mouth is full with high-quality tannin.
- 2017 Quinta Do Popa Black Edition Douro Vinho Tinto - Ruby red colour. Clean and complex. Highlights for the ripe fruits and notes of spices, in harmony with a lightly toasted aroma. Elegant entrance, emphasizing the freshness and firm tannin. Balanced, showing persistence in structure and flavours.
- 2018 Castoro Cellars Reserve Syrah - Black-raspberry jam, dried sagebrush, and sour plum-skin aromas show on the earthy nose of this bottling. It's medium-bodied on the palate, where purple-fruit and wild herb flavors converge.
